What makes this house really eye catching is the color that goes against the nature. This modern house is located in a residential area in northwest of Gothenburg. The house built on top of a hill, this way it gives a clear nice view of the North Sea. It’s very unique how usually many buildings or houses that stand on natural environment will opt for natural colors, but this one is different. What makes it blend well with the nature in fact is the shape of the volume that maintains the existing topography and making it like a natural path which emphasizes certain views.
This small family house covered 168 meters square and it has two floors. On the first floor you will be greeted with kitchen and living room and on the second floor will be the bedroom and work spaces. The facade of this house uses thin corrugated metal plates painted black and the windows use aluminum frame. Visit Johannes Norlander Arkitektur.
