Green Architecture in Rennes, The Eco Museum by Guinee Potin

When we are saying that we should “go green” it’s not just a matter of option as a matter of fact it should be our way of life because this way we can preserve nature for our future kids. Today I’m sure if you’ve set your mind in thinking of “go green” then I’m sure you will love to appreciate this Museum design. The Eco Museum was designed by Guinee Potin architects from Nantes and the Museum itself is located in Rennes, France. Since it’s dubbed the Eco Museum, the building itself is applying organic architecture as the exterior is made from chestnut shingle.

The entrance of this Museum is located just underneath the unique volume and there is where you will find the administrative office. If you said that eco friendly design can’t be modern, well you better check the eco friendly interior design in this Museum, as it’s completely modern and unpredictable. Instead of using metals, timbers are used to provide long lasting strength and in case fire happened then the timbers are much safer than metal structure.
